Evangelist Tahaiti L. Tinsley was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
While stationed in Guam, Evangelist Tinsley accepted Jesus as personal Savior. What a divine orchestration! After returning to the United States, she joined Pentecostal Experience Church of God in Christ, located in Escondido, California. It was here, she answered the call to the ministry and realized that her steps had been ordered by the Lord.
In 1996, she received her Evangelist Missionary license from the late Mother Elizabeth Nash, Jurisdictional Supervisor of Women. Evangelist Tinsley loves the Lord and is dedicated to the complete work of the ministry.
She has been given the opportunity to address such events as local church services, District Conferences and meetings, Jurisdictional Conventions; Women's, Evangelist, Music & Youth. She does not take the ministry lightly and enjoys being an encouragement to God's people.
Evangelist Tinsley is a faithful member of Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Dr. Vernon Cooper and Evangelist Fredonia Cooper. She is active in many facets of the ministry from preaching, teaching, singing and directing.
She currently serves as the Youth Director for the Mt. Olive COGIC, one of the Directors for the Mass choir and member of the praise and worship team. Evangelist Tinsley has served as the General Secretary for the Olivet District Women's Dept., under the leadership of District Missionary Jamie Frazier, State Purity Lady for the San Diego area for Supervisor Gloria Lynch and State Youth Department Expeditor under past President Pastor Michael H. Page. She currently serves Public Relations Representative for the Bishop's Office, Secretarial Team Member for the Women's Department and recently appointed to the Presidency of the State Youth Department by Bishop George D. McKinney, Jurisdiction Bishop & General Board Member, COGIC.
She is multifaceted in terms of her artistic and creative abilities. Evangelist Tinsley is a young woman with a vision, determination and the skills to be effective.
Evangelist Tinsley is the wife of Elder Jerry Tinsley, III and together they are the proud parents of four wonderful children, Aaron, (20), Jerry, (16), Brittannii (13) and Daveon (10).
Evangelist Tinsley has been anointed by God for these end times and is destined to be a dynamic force in the ministry. |
